Having issues sending & receiving emails to/from people with @.net.au or @westnet.com.au accounts?

and westnet email questions answered

Q – Why am I not receiving emails into my or westnet account?

  1. Check your internet. Pull up google on a browser and do a search on “ Outage” …you should find the network status page https://www.iinet.net.au/status/ this will tell you if there is a widespread outage or internet outage. If your internet is also with /westnet, repeat the test on your mobile phone after switching the Wi-Fi off on your phone first.
  2. Are you getting emails on your phone? If so, this would also indicate there is an “internet” issue at your home. Restart the Modem AND the box and see if this resolves the issue.
