The iPhone 6S and 6S Plus are remarkable pieces of design and engineering and a worthy upgrade for those still using the iPhone 4 or 5. If someone were to hand you a new 6S today, would you know how to transfer all the apps, contacts, photos and songs from the old to the new phone?
Well firstly you have to BACKUP (see below) your old data
Backing up iPhone and iPad using iCloud
Backing up iPhone and iPad using a computer and iTunes
…. using one of the two methods described and then setup the new phone using that backup so that all your data and apps appear on the new phone just as it did on the old one.
